I am going to Strathaven Balloon Festival
It will be held within Strathaven Park.
It is a festival where I will see lots of hot air balloons. Some of them will fly into the sky.
There will be stalls and other activities to enjoy. There will be lots of things to choose from.
Sometimes I might have to wait in lines to get food, go to the toilet or go on a ride.
There will be people at the festival who will be able to help me. They will wear bright coloured vests.
The Police will also be there to help keep me safe.
Sometimes festivals can feel noisy and crowded. I can tell my family or carer if I feel scared or overwhelmed.
If I need a break away from the noise and crowds, there will be a quiet zone that I can go to.
If I come by car, there will be a car park and we will need to go on the bus to get to the festival.
I will need to go on the bus to get back to the car.
On Saturday night there will be a night-glow. It needs to be dark for the balloons to glow.
The committee will be happy that I came to the festival.
